Project description:
Demolition of the four existing lift overruns and extension of space to allow for new lifts to access the new penthouse development. Works were completed under restricted working hours and imposed noise restrictions as apartments remained occupied throughout construction. KCL Group introduced hydro demolition to the client to allow the project to finish ahead of programme due to extended working hours. As a result of our proposed alternative method of demolition, we achieved a PC date four weeks ahead of programme and saved the client approximately €100k.
